  • Eskil Jersing

    CEO
    Eskil has over 33 years working across the spectrum of exploration to production and projects in many of the world’s key Petroleum basins (Africa, UK North Sea, Gulf of Mexico, DW Brazil, SE Asia and Australasia). Eskil started his career in 1985 as a Field Seismologist with SSL, before moving to Enterprise Oil and, following their takeover, Shell International, ultimately as the Gulf of Mexico Exploration Strategy and Planning Manager. In 2009 he joined Marathon Oil as the Company’s Manager for Conventional New Ventures Worldwide and subsequently Apache Corporation as Director Worldwide Exploration and New Ventures Asia Pacific. Subsequently he was Head of New Ventures and Co-Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Petrobras Oil & Gas BV. Prior to joining Wentworth, Eskil was the CEO of Sterling Energy plc, a UK based independent oil and gas exploration company focused primarily on Africa and the Middle East. Eskil holds a BSc in Geophysics from Cardiff University and an MSc in Petroleum Geology from Imperial College, London.

  • Katherine Roe

    CFO
    Katherine, Chief Financial Officer since 1 April 2018, was Vice President Corporate Development & Investor Relations for the Company since 2014 and has 19 years of senior corporate and capital markets experience. Prior to joining Wentworth, Katherine spent 11 years at Panmure Gordon & Co, having moved from Morgan Stanley's investment banking division. She is currently an independent Non-Executive Director of Faroe Petroleum plc, where she will take over the role of Audit Chair in 2019.
  • Andrew Smith

    Group Financial Controller
    Experience in the oil & gas sector for over 19 years and has held the positions of Group Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer at AIM listed Tower Resources plc, Group Head of Finance at Sterling Energy plc and Group Financial Controller at Xcite Energy plc and Matra Petroleum plc. Andrew has extensive experience of operating and commercialising assets within Sub-Saharan Africa as well as Russia/FSU and the UK Continental Shelf. Andrew has also assisted a number of companies in their initial public offerings, most notably Energean Oil & gas plc. Andrew holds a BA degree in Accounting from Staffordshire University, is an Associate Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
  • Cameron Snow

    Head of Subsurface & Business Development
    Cameron has extensive experience across the upstream cycle from new ventures through exploration and development in both conventional and unconventional assets. Prior history includes experience in onshore USA, Gulf of Mexico, Canada, South America, and Africa during roles with Apache, SDX Energy, and First Alpha Energy. BSc in Geology from NC State University, MSc in Geology from Utah State University, PhD in Geology from Stanford University, and MBA from Imperial College London.
  • Rosa Noboa

    Corporate HR & Administrative Manager
    Rosa brings with her a broad range of experience with a particular expertise in building and managing teams. A finance professional by background, Rosa spent 12 years with Goldman Sachs working in both its London and Singapore offices building up teams to cover a variety of functions for the Investment Banking Division. She joined Salamander Energy at its inception in 2005 with a mandate of building its infrastructure in London and S.E.Asia. As part of the management team she was able to help build the company from 5 employees to 375 employees when it was bought out by Ophir Energy in 2015.
    Rosa is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
